Antique SSS Carl H Schultz Glass Seltzer Bottle Brooklyn NY Embossed Bottle.
Carl Schultz first began producing artificial mineral waters in 1862. The business was initially called Schultz and Walker. By 1877 they had dropped the Walker name and the business was renamed Carl H Schultz.

The factory remained at the First Avenue location through most of the 1920’s business opened a new plant in Brooklyn at 118 N 11th Street. An April 7, 1929 story in the Brooklyn Times Union announced the changes. This bottle is probably from after that move to Brooklyn. I would say somewhere in the 1930's but it just a guess. Base on other bottles that I have seen marked Schultz and were from Brooklyn NY were very plain and not as embellished as the earlier ones from Brooklyn. Front is marked Schultz Carbonic 25c Deposit. Bottom is marked- Carl H Schultz Corp Brooklyn NY - Patent contains 1pt. 10 fl. oz. Pending.
Very clean condition-I removed the top and cleaned as well as I could. It is in beautiful shape. I reattached the top and screwed it hand tight so it won't be difficult for you to fill it. Just in case you wanted to operate it. Very clean and no cracks in bottle or siphon. One chip I noticed on the back on the very bottom, see last two pictures.Used items are not perfect as new, so please review all photos, and ask any questions prior to buying I have more seltzer bottles which I have to inspect and clean, and I will be offering in the near future. I also have a least three wooden cases that I will put up for sale. If there is a specific bottle that you might need, let me know the brand or description, and If I have it I will get back to you. Thanks
