Vintage KitchenAid Hobart 3 Quart Glass Bowl, GB or 3A-HRB for Mixer Models K-3, 3A and very early 3B - XXXRARE - GUC

Used - This bowl is in good used condition.  It has two tiny chips in the bottom base of the bowl but does lock perfectly well into the base of the mixer.  There is also some light beater scratches on the inside sides and bowl and more on the inside bottom of the bowl which do not show up well in pictures.  The bowl was never washed in dishwasher and there is no crazing or fogging other than the beater scratches.  Bowl comes from a smoke free and pet free home.  Overall the bowl is in good condition for its age, circa late 1930s to early 1940s.  It is beautiful.  The KitchenAid mixer shown in the pictures is not part of this listing.  You are buying a 3 quart all glass mixing bowl only.

This all glass, PYREX style 3 quart mixing bowl was made in the 1930s and was purchased as the second mixing bowl for a K-3 KitchenAid model mixer and had light use.  It was manufactured by Hobart Corp. for KitchenAid.  It fits the model K-3, 3A, and early 3B KitchenAid mixers.  

These bowls are extremely rare to find.  Even though the 3C and late model 3B bowls are all 3 quarts in size, this listing for the older version GB or 3B/3A/3 bowl is much heavier than the 3C newer model.  It has has the painted black and white stripes on the exterior of the bowl which matches the trim colors of the K-3, 3A and 3B mixers.  As of this listing go live, it was the only one of its kind on eBay.
