THE UNDERARM FRENCH SEAM IS BROKEN OPEN SLIGHTLY AT BOTH UNDER ARMS ,

I DID NOT BUTTON UP THE NECK AS I WAS AFRAID HEAVY HANDS COULD DAMAGE THE THREAD LOPOPS.

DRESS OVERALL IS AMAZING SHAPE FOR A 100 YEAR OLD WHITE ITEM!
THSI DRESS DOSEN'T HAVE ANY OPENING TO FACILITATE PUTTING IT ON, OTHER THAN THE BUTTONS AT NECK . SO YOU MUST SLIP IT OVER YOUR HEAD, COLLAPSING THE SHOULDERS ETC.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF FIT 1920S ERA DRESSES AND THIS ONES MEASURMENTS IF YOU PLAN TO WEAR IT
IF YOU ARE NOT ENTIRELY OPPOSED: I MAY SUGGEST OPENING THE LEFT SIDE SEAM FULLY AND PROVIDING A DELICATE CLOSEURE THAT COULD BE REMOVED SOMEDAY IF THE OWNER WISHED TO REVERT IT.
LIKE A SNAP PLACKET OR A FINE ZIPPER, LIGHTLY HAND SEWN INTO PLACE.
IVE SEEN THIS DONE EFFECTILY ON 20S DRESSES BEFORE.
SINCE THIS DRESS IS LINEN AND NOT SILK - IT IS STILL STRONG, THE FABRIC IS HEALTHY AND I'D RECOMEND THAT IT IS WEARABLE ON OCCASION WITH CONSIDERATION OF COURSE.
