Amethyst crystal heart from Uruguay.  This polished heart can be used in metaphysical crystal healing, as a collection or display piece.  This heart is carved from a natural cluster of  purple hued Amethyst crystal upon Agate and matrix rock. The heart is polished around the sides for a smooth finish to the transition layer of Agate crystal that separates the Amethyst crystals from the matrix rock.  Amethyst is the violet variety of Quartz.  The Amethyst of Uruguay is prized for its deep royal purple hued coloration.  A beautiful Amethyst crystal heart.All my amethyst geodes are 100%natural--not having been dyed.I only stock top quality specimens and will never provide you with second rate minerals specimens.To test the dyed amethyst,you can wash it with hot water then dry it with a cotton cloth.Then take a cotton swap and dip it in acetone or nailpolish remover, if it starts turning purple you've been sold dyed amethyst and should request a refund.
