On September 18, 1976, Queen held a free concert in London's Hyde Park, recorded and broadcasted for a BBC TV/radio special. This live album captures the full concert using the sound sources from that broadcast!


The previous year, 'Bohemian Rhapsody', a single cut from the album 'A Night At The Opera', achieved a mega hit with 9 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the UK singles chart, with the album itself reaching No.1 on the UK album chart for the first time in the band's history. Drawing over 150,000 audience members, the excitement of this free concert was incredible and is heralded as a legendary release in Queen's career!
