This is an original Afghan cap issued for the Soviet Army during the Afghanistan campaign period. An authentic military desert headwear piece, preserved from long-term storage.

Designed for harsh desert and mountainous conditions, this cap features a short visor and wide protective fabric panels with buttons, allowing multiple wearing configurations.

This construction was officially approved by USSR Armed Forces regulations and widely used in Afghanistan for protection from sun, sandstorms and cold desert winds.
