Pair of  Antique 800 Silver German Articulated Swan Salt Cellars. The swans have crystal inserts and the hinged wings open. The swans measure 2 3/4 inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide. They stand 2 1/4 inches high to the top of the neck. They are both marked with the crown and crescent purity mark and “800” on the bottom. The salt cellars weigh 128 grams (without the inserts). The crystal inserts are in good condition (aybe one tiny chip). One of the wings has a replacement pin. The is some tarnishing and some verdigris on the interior of the swans. Modest wear commensurate with age and use.
