Wonderful antique porcelain figurine of a young woman, tirelessly working with an almost empty basket of flowers in her hand; which, with her posture, hints that she is at the end of a long working day.

Tastefully painted with warm earth tones and gentle caramel hues.

Marked to Le Nove, as seen in J.P. Cushion’s “Handbook Of Pottery And Porcelain Marks” on p. 360. Le Nove porcelain was made in the 18th century in the town now called Nove, near Bassano, then in the Republic of Venice's mainland territories, the terrafirma. This piece dates to mid 19th century.

Very good antique condition. Losses to both thumbs, slight wear to gilt, some small losses to some of the flowers in basket - please carefully regard all photos
