Original This is our war... Join the WAAC (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps)

This is the smaller size recruiting poster measuring 12 x 9 1/2 inches.  This also has the name of the WAAC recruiting office in San Francisco, stamped at the top

The poster is unbacked and has some wear consistent with age and a tear that could be fixed (please look at photos for a closer look).

The Poster is Dated 1/30/43

The WAAC was renamed to the WAC (Women's Army Corps) in July 1943, granting female soldiers many of the same rights as male soldiers so despite the flaws mentioned, this early WW2 WAAC poster is a great authentic collector's item.
