Timber Garden Buildings
Our wooden garden buildings are delivered flat-packed by courier. Once your order has been placed and received, you should receive a link to an online booking portal where you can manage your delivery booking.
If within 48hrs you have not yet booked a delivery date, our delivery team will book your order for delivery on the next available date and then send you a message to confirm this date. The garden buildings will be delivered on a vehicle ranging from 7.5T to 18T. If you live in an area where there is limited access, please make this known to the courier or add the information on the delivery instructions at checkout to ensure there are no delays with your delivery. Please note that the courier operates a curbside delivery policy and will not be able to transport your order through or to the rear of your property. Should you need this to be done, please ensure you make arrangements for this to be done.
Metal & Plastic Garden Buildings
Our metal and plastic garden sheds are delivered in boxes by courier. The courier will collect your order from our depot and then contact you to book or inform you of a delivery date. The courier should also provide you with tracking information. The number of boxes you will receive depends on the specification of the product. If you are unsure of how many boxes you should have, please get in touch with us and we can let you know.
Postal Items
Postal items will be dispatched on the same working day, if ordered before 4 pm, or the next working day if ordered after 4 pm or on non-working days. Orders will be sent 1st Class with Royal Mail and should be with you within 1 to 3 working days.
Please note that due to the current Royal Mail industrial action, there may be a small delay with postal orders.
Returns
We offer a 30-day returns policy on all of the items that we list. The guarantee commences from the date you receive your item. We offer a free collection service included in this policy. Once your order has returned to our factory, a full refund will be issued within 1 to 3 working days back to the original payment method
Garden Buildings, Structures & Fencing
We offer a free collection service, for the above items, as part of the 30-day money-back guarantee. Once we receive your return request we will schedule a collection and confirm a date with you.
Postal Items
To return an item that has been posted out to you, we will send you pre-paid packaging to return this within 1 to 3 working days of receiving your return request.
Dip Treated Buildings - After installation of the building, the shed requires a preservative treatment applied to it to protect against rot and decay and then a waterproof top coat treatment to prevent water ingress. This is a mandatory requirement if you are wanting to ensure the 10-year anti-rot guarantee remains active.
Pressure-Treated Buildings - After installation of the building, pressure-treated sheds require just a waterproof treatment to be applied to prevent water ingress. This is a mandatory requirement if you are wanting to ensure the 15-year anti-rot guarantee remains active.
Metal and Plastic Garden Buildings - There is no general maintenance to be carried out with metal and plastic sheds. We do advise that you regularly check the framing to ensure it doesn't become loose. Absco Metal sheds have a 30-year warranty against rust and corrosion. This warranty needs to be registered on the Absco Sheds website. The plastic Palram sheds have a 10 Year Manufacturer Guarantee.
Dip Treatment Process
During our manufacturing process, we dip-treat all our entire range of greenhouses. This involves applying a water-based colourant to your garden building, protecting your building whilst it is in storage and transit. However, it is important to note that this treatment is not a preservative. Therefore, your garden building will still require a high-quality timber preservative and waterproofing top coat as soon as possible after construction.
Pressure Treatment Process
The pressure treatment process protects your building against insect attack and natural decay, and keeps it looking fresh! Your building will also benefit from our 15-year anti-rot guarantee. (Waterproof treatment upon construction and annually thereafter is required.)

My order has not been delivered, what should I do?
We deliver between 7am and 7pm. If your order has not been delivered when expected please contact and we can look into this for you.
Will I need to help my delivery driver?
Our drivers DO NOT need your help during a delivery. They will not ask for your help and they can manage all the items themselves. We are not insured to cover any customer injuries and therefore we ask you NOT to help or try and help our drivers while they make a delivery.
What access is needed for my delivery?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us. Our team will be able to provide you with more information and specific building information.
What size vehicle will deliver my order?
We operate 3.5 ton, 7.5 ton and 17 ton vehicles. Your ordered building could arrive on any of these vehicles depending on which area you live in and the time of year. If you live in area where access is dif?cult for larger vehicles please let us know as soon as possible.
What happens if my order is not delivered on the day I picked?
We apologise if you were expecting a delivery on a specific day and it was not delivered. If you did not get your order delivered please wait for us to contact you. We will speak to you and arrange another suitable delivery date. You do not need to be home for your Waltons delivery. You can contact us and let us know about your missed delivery, too
Can I choose a delivery slot?
We will contact you on the morning of your con?rmed delivery date by email and/or SMS with a 2-hour delivery time slot. We aim to meet these delivery times but during busy periods, deliveries may take a little longer, however we always work hard to keep delays to a minimum. To save you waiting around all day, you can use our live tracking service within the delivery portal. This will give you the exact location of the driver and an accurate time of arrival, down to the minute!
How do I care for my Styrene Windows?
A clear film is used to protect your Styrene windows. Once your shed is installed and treated this will need to be removed. This can be done by simply scoring around the edge of the window and peeling back the plastic covering.The windows of our garden buildings are designed to fit well. However, over time due to the natural movement of the timber small gaps can occur. To prevent this from occurring make sure to seal your Styrene windows with a silicone sealant.
What base do I require for my new garden building?
A flat, level base is essential when building your new garden shed. We recommend the following bases; concrete, slab paving, ground-level bearers or a wooden frame. Prior to building your garden shed be sure to check your base is level in both directions. If the base of your shed is not level when it is constructed it will cause the building to twist and warp with the natural movement of the timber. Therefore, it is really important to adjust your base accordingly to achieve this before constructing your garden building.
