Vintage brass trumpet mouthpiece early USSR 1920s patina
I don't know what kind of trumpet this mouthpiece is used for, I'm not a musician.
There is a stamp on the mouthpiece: Hammer and sickle - the trademark of the Soviet government in the early 1920s
An internet search did not yield any additional information. I think only specialists in this field will be able to name the manufacturer of this device. Most likely, such a plant or factory no longer exists and such mouthpieces are not produced.
Judging by the appearance, it seems to me that the mouthpiece was made in the 1920s in - a country that no longer exists.
It is made of brass, heavy for its size and is in very good condition. I did not remove the patina on purpose. Buyers are divided approximately 50/50: some like the patina, some like the shine.
I am sure that it can be safely used further after a little maintenance.
Judging by the size of the mouthpiece, I can assume that it is used on a tuba or equivalent large trumpet.
Please see the dimensions in the photo.
Weight - 150 g
The mouthpiece is sold as is, so carefully look at the photo and ask questions.
Best regards, we are waiting for a buyer!
