This beautiful clay box with tray is a Mid-Century Modern David Gil masterpiece. It has smooth, unglazed matte surfaces throughout, and measures 6 inches on each side with the tray a little larger.  The piece is rare, hand-made and signed. It has an earthy but dignified aspect. Excellent condition; no cracks or chips, except for one tiny chip on the top of one side (see photos). After all these years, it has the look and feel of a trendy, modern piece.

It is stamped Bennington Potters Vermont, 1545 (box), 1545T (tray) and "dg".   Lightly used. Perfect for special flowers, countertop storage or desktop organisation. Please be sure to read the description carefully and refer to the photos. And please message me with any questions you might have.
