    This product is not recommended unless you are diligent in checking the physical ink levels on the cartridges. Canon thermal print heads require ink to cool. Printing with empty cartridges will cause permanent damage. This product has been released after requests from specialist ink printer users and should be used only if you understand and accept the risk. Continuous ink systems or single use cartridges are the alternatives and should be strongly considered if you feel you may neglect to keep the physical ink levels topped up.
