This 1985 Garbage Pail Kids 2nd Series 2 Uncut Sheet features 132 cards in standard size, manufactured by Topps. The uncut sheet is made of card stock and is a unique and rare find with a blank back. Sheet has been previously rolled, and does have some bubbling in the stickers because of it. I have kept to sheet flat, and will ship the sheet flat and secure.

According to GPK collector’s sites, the 2nd series had three print runs. The first print wave had puzzle pieces with Leaky Lindsay / Messy Tessie, and the character name for card 49b was Schizo Fran. The second print wave had puzzle pieces with Jolted Joel / Live Mike, and the character name for card 49b was Schizo Fran. The third print wave had puzzle pieces with Jolted Joel / Live Mike, and the character name for card 49b was changed to Fran Fran.

Also noted, on rare occasion, the full Garbage Pail Kids card sheets did not make it through the entire printing process, and the back of the sheets did not get anything printed on them.

The Topps codes for the three runs were:

Uncut Sheet

4-495-05-01-5

Uncut Sheet : Sticker Format : Leaky / Schizo

4-495-05-02-5

Uncut Sheet : Sticker Format : Live / Schizo

4-495-05-03-5

Uncut Sheet : Sticker Format : Live / FRAN

As you can see in the pictures, the color of the cards appears to be saturated. It also features Schizo Fran as 49b card. There Topps code also appears to be printed over.

Deductively, it is my logical OPINION, due to the Topps codes, that this sheet was possibly one of the last sheets printed in the 1st Run, and didn’t get the Messy Tessy back printed. It was subsequently re-ran through the printer, thus the saturated color, and the 2nd run Topps code printed over the first code. After seeing that the colors didn’t look right, it was pulled from the line, and did not get the Live Mike back printed on either.

Very Cool and extremely unique find!!!!!
