Vintage and very scarce 4-bladed folding knife handmade in Solingen,
Germany by the reputable german Hen & Rooster (Bertram Cutlery)
knife company from the 1990's - model Coon Hunter 224 DS.
Limited production model in a classic 4-bladed Congress pattern.
The Congress pattern is one that was created specifically
for the American market in the earlier part of the 1800's.
Four polished blades made of high qualitative Rostfrei stainless steel.
Handle made of brass linings and nickel-silver bolsters with
very nice real stag horn scales and also nickel rivets.
Integrated nickel brand logo plate in the one handle scale.
Nail nick opening. Slipjoint blade system.
The ricasso of the main blade is stamped on the one side with: the brand
logo of the company - hen and rooster, SOLINGEN, GERMANY and on the
reverse side of the ricasso with: BERTRAM CUTLERY, ROSTFREI, 224 DS.
The knife is in overall excellent preserved authentically condition for its age - NOS
(New Old Stock). NEVER used with some scratches on the blades and handle scales.
