This is one of the most beautiful Raku finishes I have seen. It is almost like fire itself in the colors and iridescence. The 10 inch tall columnar vase can be a wine holder or just a lovely vase. It has a plastic liner so you can add flowers with water if you choose. There is a paper label that tells that the pattern on the piece is "The Longhouse - Inspired by the nobility of the First Nations Peoples and the grandeur of the Pacific Northwest, Stephan Roy is pleased to present his newest collect The Longhouse..." it goes on to say that the piece is "...a wonderful moment of Western Canada and your visit to Banff." The condition is like new. No chips, crabs or damage. There is what looks to be a signature in the clay on the bottom of the vase but the overglaze makes it hard to see.
