Acoustic Sessions is Thin Lizzy's first "new" album since 1983's Thunder And Lightning. It includes 9 songs culled from Lizzy's first three albums, with early vocal recordings by Phil Lynott, as well as newly recorded acoustic and Dobro guitar parts by original guitarist, Belfast-born Eric Bell. The outer sleeve and inner sleeve artwork design is by longtime Lizzy collaborator, Jim Fitzpatrick.

This limited edition version of the album is pressed on heavyweight clear vinyl and includes one of just 50 12"x12" prints of the album sleeve, signed by Eric Bell.
