Fuel Supply Made Simple

Wondering how the surge tank stays full? The fuel pump(s) in the surge tank receive fuel from four different sources:

  • The high flow (low pressure) fuel pump in the OEM location.
  • Fuel returning from the fuel pressure regulator (FPR).
  • Fuel transfer from the integrated venturi jet pump siphon.
  • The 355LPH one-way fill valve located at the bottom of the surge tank.

Electrical Setup

For those planning to install one FHST pump, we've got you covered with external high current fuel pump wiring, including one relay, one fuse, and all necessary hardware. Since the fuel pump supplying the FHST (in its original location) will now operate at low pressure (high flow), your OEM external fuel pump wiring will be more than adequate for this "lift" pump.
