[Story Introduction]
Hachiro Azuma, a skilled detective of the Metropolitan Police's First Investigative Division, was struck down by a criminal's bullet. However, thanks to Dr. Tani, who researched military robots, he was reborn as a super robot with his memories transplanted from life.
Operating as a private detective in Hachiro's form, he also acts as the 8th detective of the First Investigative Division, '8 Man'.
Today, he faces international conspiracies and bizarre incidents intertwined with human emotions.
