SET OF 4 FRONT LOWER WISHBONE SHIMS FOR

TRIUMPH SPITFIRE MkI, II, III, IV & 1500 ; YEARS 1962-1980.

TRIUMPH GT6 MkI, II & III ; YEARS 1966-1973.

TRIUMPH HERALD 948, 1200, 1250 & 13/60 ; YEARS 1959-1971.

TRIUMPH VITESSE 6/1600 & 2 LITRE ; YEARS 1962-1971.

The shims are supplied NEW and for reference, has the Part No. 122022.

It is made from mild steel with a silver zinc plated finish for added corrosion resistance. It locates between the front lower wishbone and the mounting bracket and is used to adjust the camber of the suspension.

If you are fitting to something other than a Triumph (TVR, Lotus, Caterham etc) here are the dimensions: 62mm long, by 35.5mm wide, 0.5mm thick, folded edge 7.4mm tall bolt slot 49mm long by 8.9mm wide.

The price is for FOUR shims - if you wish to increase the camber then you can buy a 2nd set (I have seen many cars with 2 sets fitted and according to some online Triumph forums the camber was often increased by the factory).

 If you are a fastidious owner and are taking your car for 4 wheel alignment then take two sets with you as you may find the mechanic wants to fit more than one or two per wishbone for perfect alignment.
