Celebrating 45 years, the UK heavy metal band SAXON releases a commemorative 2CD set featuring their 21st album, 'Battering Ram'. Released in 2015, this album was mixed, mastered, and produced by Andy Sneap, delivering a powerful European power metal sound. The second disc features 18 live tracks from the 2011 Swedish Rock Festival.


Key tracks include 'Battering Ram', 'Stand Your Ground', and 'Top Of The World'. Backing vocals on some tracks feature Seb Byford, the son of lead vocalist Biff Byford. This special edition includes the complete 'SAXON Over Sweden 2011' live recording previously only available in a German box set.


Special notes: Includes liner notes by Hiroshi Okumura. Bonus disc included! Produced by Andy Sneap and executive-produced by Biff Byford with cover artwork by Paul Raymond Gregory.
