Our unique multi-purpose product is very versatile and can be used for a number of applications in the home, in business or in the trades - an essential item that you didn't know you needed!
Featuring a strong galvanised mesh inner, lined with two skins of heavy duty epdm rubber, the sheet can be bent, shaped and moulded to suit the users needs! - and then turned back into a flat sheet!
Firm n Flex is fully cleanable, weather-proof, uv and ozone proof, and can withstand high and low temperatures.
It can be used indoors or outdoors. It can be submerged in water long-term and frozen. Suitable for both building and diy/home applications.
The sheet has been designed so that it can be crafted by hand to its desired shapes, then fully flattened and re-used again in different shapes as required over its long lifetime. Heavy duty and robust, and like a sturdy mesh it will keep the shape it is moulded to.
When shaped as a tub form, the sheet can carry a substantial weight, it is not brittle like many plastic tubs but can flex, be carried and still keep its form. Please see our photos for examples of its flexibility.
There are no limit to the many uses of our multi-purpose sheet in the home or for commercial usage, some more common applications of the sheet by our end users are;
Drip Tray (eg oil drain on car, or draining a home radiator) - the sheet can be easily and quickly moulded to have four sides and act as a deep or shallow tray or tub, able to bend into awkward areas a normal tray cannot, also once full a spout can be easily created making emptying easier!
Garden / Pond Application - Form a trough or planter for pond plants, great on ponds with sloping edges! The sheet comes without perforations but it is possible to pierce the rubber for drainage if used for garden planters/liner or pond. Temporary fish store when pond cleaning.
Use linked sheets of our mesh to form a unique waterfall or cascade!
Drain leaf cover for awkward pipes and fence lines. Collect fruit, garden waste, store bulbs / cuttings.
In the home - Cleaning up - easily shape into a dust-pan to scoop up awkward spills. Or as a play mat/tray for kids messy play and tidying away!
Diyers / tradesman - temporary store for removed screws, nuts and product parts, useful mat or shape it to hang.
Motor - Shallow tray for oil / coolant drain-offs. Parts / Tool holder in tight areas.
Emergency Repairs - Broken window, roof leak or flashing issue, bend around leaking pipework to help control water collection.
Camping / Hiking Accessory, easily stored and variety of uses, collecting and storing, portable shelf.
Firm n Flex sheet is easily stored either flat or rolled up.
The product is trimmable, but this will expose the internal mesh lines so we advise only folding it if possible.
