B. DONDORF PLAYING CARDS No. 158 WHIST

 

ORIGINAL COMPLETE SET + BOX + JOKER

Beards and moustaches can be seen in Dondorf cards, along with fancy period costumes and characters.

All edges are gilt, difficult to see in photos....not worn at all.

THE "ROKOKO" NO. 158 PLAYING CARDS HAVE BEAUTIFUL COURT CARDS & FLORAL BACKS. 

In excellent condition.  The box is worn.

Lithographer and printer Bernhard Dondorf founded the B. Dondorf company on April 2, 1833 as a printing and trading company in Frankfurt, Germany.  He specialized in high-quality print products.  From 1839 they mainly focused on the production of playing cards.
