This vintage Moon Eyes Speed Equipment porcelain sign features the large eyes. The sign is made of high-quality porcelain paint on metal and measures 11 3/4" across.
As you can see of the pic in the back, my dad purchased this in 1986. I'm guessing it was the last one at the store at that time. Haha Silly Pops!
I took two pics with a flash and two with natural light. There seems to be these small little blackish/greyish dots.
Look carefully to see if you can see it as well.
It would appear to me that it was meant to be that way, as it's only in the yellow parts, not in the white eyes.
I thought at first pops may have sprayed something on it but i don't think that's true. I believe this to be a natural process on purpose.
