The plant that I ship is about 2-3 feet tall.

The flowers of this species are more of a salmon pink than the other Cassias and each petal is delicately veined with green, the pink becoming deeper as the flower ages.

The bracts at the bases of the flower stalks are pale green and the calyces are pink. Each leaf bears from five to ten pairs of small leaflets, oblong and blunt-ended.

Native to East India.

Prefers a rich moist well-drained soil in a protected sunny position, drought and frost tender.

Cassia marginata needs rich, well-drained soil for growth. You can add Mulch during the summer season. Mulch retains the moisture of the ground and protects the roots during the winter. Once a year, fertilizer should be added and pruning should be completed. The seed should be planted in early spring when there is moist soil, high humidity, peat soil, and hormones for good growth. Regular watering is required once a week, even though the tree can sustain drought conditions. Full sunlight helps with the development and flowers to bloom.

Fertilizer that I include as an option is an excellent choice for professional growers or nurseries if you grow plant in a pot. I personally use it for all my plants. It has polymer coating to allow slow release during 8-9 months evenly. You don't have to worry about repotting the plant for about 1 year or worry about burning plant with your regular over the counter fertilizer. You need about 3-4oz per 3 gal pot or 4-5oz per 5 gal pot.
