Offered for sale is a new in the box, Vintage 1990 Ertl 1:16th Scale John Deere Model A Tractor. This is from the Precision Classics Series, Part Number 560 and Serial Number 2740HC, which indicates it was produced on the 274th day of 1990. This vintage tractor is in new condition and the box is in very good condition with some minor shelf wear. Please look carefully at the pictures for additional details concerning condition. I sell all items as is. The actual 26 horsepower tractor was produced by John Deere from 1934 to 1952 at the Waterloo, Iowa factory. The A was John Deere's first true row-crop tractor, replacing the GP. There were several variants of the A. The A was the row-crop model. The AR was a standard (or fixed) tread model. The AO was an orchard model, with no exhaust stack and shielded fenders. There was also the AI industrial model, the AN with narrow front, the AW wide front, and the high-crop ANH and AWH. The model A was the first Deere tractor to come from the factory with rubber tires. Additional information about this toy can be found on page 138 of the 2024 Farm Toy Price Guide published by the National Farm Toy Museum. The Collector's Coin is included, but not the Historical Booklet. This is a very nice older, 34 years old, diecast metal replica that would make a great gift or awesome addition to any collection/display. Thanks for looking.
