Completed kit, transmitter, battery & minor repairs needed.

From my brothers model collection.

Constructed by my brother, master model builder and competition flyer Dave Saks.

Only flown by Dave, never crashed. Damage occurred in storage. Rubber bands for wing dried out and tumbled off a shelf. The rudder broke, (see pic #5 easy fix)

Subsequently, the stringers for the front wing control and hold down, have warped. (see pics #6 & 7)

One band was all I had for the pictures. Stringers will need to be straightened or replaced. I found some thin ply in his wood supplies, I will include with it, to make new.

Just collecting dust now, time to let someone enjoy it.

Our S-POU! UM was directly inspired by the Pou De Ciel (Flying Flea) – and features the same flight mechanics of Henri Minet’s original flying machine. This tandem wing model explores Minet’s pitch control of the main wing and provokes all kinds of ogling at local indoor events!

The gentle handling S-POU! UM will not spin and stalls are always clean, predictable, and straight ahead. Slow speed, wide flight envelope, and forgiving handling keeps the new pilot from trouble and the low mass, durable, all balsa construction makes encounters with the ground a non-event. Should you find your S-POU! UM requires repair; damage is easily fixed at the field in seconds with thin CA glue.
