This rare 1930s Danish “Bali Shag” litho hinged tobacco tin , measuring 4 5/8” x 6 1/4” x 3 3/8”, is in very good condition with no rust or dents and some very minor age related paint scratches  and chips.  Much of the original high gloss finish remains.  The hinge is in excellent working condition.  This highly attractive bright red tin features gold lettering advertising the Bali Shag tobacco brand.  The tobacco was manufactured by the C.W.Obel Tobacco Company, Aalborg, Denmark.   Christen Whinther Obel founded the company in 1787 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
