A Sterling Silver mounted white Onyx and Abalone Shell inlaid Inkwell, Inkstand. It was made in London by George Betjemann & Sons and is fully hallmarked with their makers initials, London Leopards head, Lion passant and 1926 date code letter L. It measures 7" or 178mm in wide x 5" or 127mm in deep x 3 1/2" or 9cm in high. It dates to the Art Deco period and is in a good used condition, with wear commensurate with its age and use.
