Description

We have a 1960s Scalex by Triang plastic battery operated model of RMS Orcades ocean liner. The model has and overall length of 53cm and is in good order appearing to not have been in water. There are a few small plastic sections missing from including a grey light, one remains intact, the three posted mast and an anchor tie off point. The battery compartment is clean and rust free and accepts Eveready type 1839 battery. I have run the motor with a low voltage transformer and it works fine. The propeller and shaft turns but does not spin with the motor, I assume there is a coupling between it and the motor that need attention. The box is also in good order, the paper labeling is all there with some small tears and wear to edges.

Payment

Payment must be received within five days of auction end, unless other arrangement's have been made. If payment has not been received in that period, the item will be re-listed and a non-paying bidder complaint filed with eBay.

Shipping

I take care with packing. Small items such as badges are posted using bubble envelopes. Larger items are bubble wrapped and boxed with loose fill. I add $1.00 to the postage charge to help cover the cost of buying materials. All items, International and within Australia, are now posted with tracking as encouraged by eBay.  Please advise prior to payment. I post everyday and tracking details will be provided each evening.
