Windows 98 does not support a drive greater than 137GB. You can still use larger drives for Windows 98 you just can't write to a partition after that point.

Software limitations aside, some older motherboards (typically 486 and older) also don't support drive capacities above usually 32GB, so some will have jumpers on them to reduce the capacity to make them compatible. I usually mention this in my listings if I see support for it.

“Used” means tested and working and only sold if I would be happy using it myself. You will never find swollen capacitors, dry thermal paste, dead CMOS batteries or temporary reflow fixes. My high feedback and exceptionally low return rate speaks for itself.
