A WONDERFUL EARLY 19TH CENTURY "MINIATURE" PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN WAG ON THE WALL CLOCK WITH ITS ORIGINAL BRASS 30 HOUR WORKS AND ITS ORIGINAL PAINTED DIAL. PENNSYLVANIA, CIRCA 1840-1860.
A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL CLOCK IN A VERY RARE SMALL SIZE.
IT HAS A GREAT HAND PAINTED TOMBSTONE SHAPED DIAL WITH FLOWERS THROUGHOUT.
IT STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL CAST BRASS HANDS.
The Brass works seem complete BUT we cannot guarantee it to be in running order as it’s untested.
The piece still retains its original brass winding chains, iron weight and iron and brass pendulum (missing the pendulum stick).
The dial is approximately 8" tall and 5.5" across.
Typical wear and imperfections of a period piece of this age. Minor paint losses as seen in the photos. Also, the wood side doors are intact.
