Constructed from high-quality all-aluminum, this radiator features a 36mm high-density HyperCore that offers a 44% increase in cooling capacity over the OEM unit, making it ideal for off-road enthusiasts and performance applications.
One of the standout features of this radiator is the omission of an internal automatic transmission cooler, which allows for an additional 2 inches of approach angle on automatic transmission-equipped trucks. This design choice eliminates the risk of coolant and transmission fluid breach, enhancing the reliability and safety of your vehicle's cooling system. For automatic transmission models, an external AT cooler is required (not included).
Installation is straightforward, with no drilling or cutting required. However, it is recommended to use the Koyorad SK-C13 or an equivalent mini style radiator cap, as the OEM cap is not compatible. For optimal performance, consider pairing this radiator with the recommended lower radiator hose (Toyota part #16572-07030 or Gates #21534) and fan shroud (Toyota part #16711-07020) for 4x4 models with manual transmission.
