Rebuild service for your Mercedes W123 300TD Wagon fuel sending unit. Buyer will mail in their fuel sending unit for repair/rebuild service. After you purchase, WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE MAILING IT BACK !
(NOTE: If you need to drive your wagon while your fuel sending unit is being repaired, then I suggest getting a rubber or cork stopper that tapers from about 1.5" at the narrow part to 2" at the wide part. This will be sufficient size to plug the fuel sending unit hole.)
The price of this service is for electric/wire repair and cleaning/testing. It assumes that your fuel sending unit is complete with no missing parts and that you have a fully intact tube (not split or badly damaged) and that the shaft of your fuel sending unit is not bent or damaged (i.e. has such bad rust that it will need to be replaced). Seller can fix these things if necessary, but can create a separate listing for you for any additional repairs and/or parts needed to complete the repair.
YES, I CAN REPAIR UNITS EVEN IF SOME OR ALL THE WIRES ARE BROKEN OR MISSING. (this is included in the service price above)
YES, I CAN REPAIR UNITS EVEN IF THE SHAFT IS BENT OR BADLY DAMAGED BY RUST (there is additional repair time/cost for this; inquire for custom listing)
YES, I CAN REPLACE TUBES EVEN IF YOU TUBE IS MISSING OR BADLY DAMAGED (there is additional repair time/cost for this; inquire for custom listing)
The seller will thoroughly clean and inspect this fuel sending unit. All internal parts are cleaned and any worn/damaged parts are replaced and it is tested to ensure for proper operation. Rubber o-ring seal underneath the fuel sending unit is not included, but you can re-use your old rubber seal, as they are not leak-prone. A 90-day exchange warranty is included as long as you do not physically damage the fuel sending unit due to you having a damaged/dented in fuel tank and/or bad SLS shocks causing the bottom end of your wagon to sag far lower than the factory intended!
