This is a challenge coin display, with progressively higher rows, like stadium seating. The top row is expanded in depth, to accommodate larger coins, medallions, or medals. Each row is about 5mm deep. The deeper top row is about 1/4" deep, or 6.5mm.
There are many options to choose from, however the best value, and most popular size by far, is the 10 Row - 14" Wide model. If you are lost on which one to choose - that one is an excellent general recommendation.
Note: Due to how many convenient sizes and styles we offer, the photo attached to each available style may not necessarily represent the exact width you are purchasing. I recommend measuring your available space, and the width of your coins to ensure you are ordering the best size to fit your needs.
The "1, 3, 4, or 5 Dual Row" is just like it sounds - a 1, 3, 4 or 5 tier dual-size row model, for more varied collections. It features a deep, generously sized row (12.7mm - 1/2"), with a 5mm row laid in to the floor. This one will accommodate thick or thin coins, on a single row!
The "Deep Row" variant has a row depth of about 1/2", or 12.7mm.
The “8+2” variant is 8 regular rows, and the top 2 rows are “deep rows” at about 1/2” in front to back depth or 12.7mm.
The “Tall Row” variant is 50% taller than the standard size, providing more vertical clearance between rows of coins for improved visibility with taller coins.
The "10+Platform" variant is 10 regular rows (with the top row being slightly deeper for thicker coins) and features a generous 2" platform on the very top to display large objects, with a lip running the full length of the back to prohibit items from slipping off. The top protective lip is in addition to the 2" platform, and does NOT eat in to it's 2" space whatsoever.
The "Linkable 8 Row" variant is 7 regular rows, and 1 Deep Row up top. it is 314mm wide (12.4 Inches). It features magnets on the right and left sides, that allow multiple units to link and align together with a satisfying, and exacting automatic magnetic snap. The regular rows are 5mm in front to back depth, and the Deep Row is 11.5mm in front to back depth.
The "Single Coin" Variant is a small collectible coin display. It is meant to showcase a single coin. It is great for filling in gaps on shelves or bookcases, or on either side where you might have one of my larger Challenge Coin Displays already. The slot is 5mm front to back, which will accommodate most standard sized collectible coins. The non-included test coin in the photo, for reference, is made from aluminum, and is 3mm thick, and 45mm in diameter. These are sold in multipacks, choose your desired quantity. Custom colors available upon request for no additional charge, just shoot me a message to see if I have your preferred color, chances are I do.
The "12 Row" Variant is 12 standard rows, 5mm in depth (front to back).
The "Jumbo" Variant is 9 standard rows, 2 deeper rows, and 4x very deep rows, along with a 2" platform at the top.
The Single - Extra Large Coin Variant is a single coin holder meant for oversized or larger coins, medallions, badges, belt buckles, etc. It will accommodate 1/2"+ items, and has a smaller 5mm recessed slot for thinner coins as well. It does well with large, tall, top heavy coins.
The "Blemished" variant will be a unit that did not pass our quality control standards, but still functions as expected. Examples of blemished items would excessive warping of edges, uneven or otherwise unattractive surface finish or consistency. Small cracks or abrasions that do not affect functionality. Repaired units with visible repaired lines/weld points and/or visible glue. Models with rough faces on the sides or back. The blemished models are closely inspected to ensure that they function exactly as well as the non-blemished ones, their flaws are cosmetic only, and are sold at a steep discount. They will be but mostly black (with the rare exception), and various styles. The vast majority of the blemished units will be larger in size. Average value of a blemished unit is $35+. If the availability of blemished units are of smaller sizes, multiple units will be shipped to ensure a $35+ value is received by the buyer. Please note that blemished units are sold as-is, with the expectation of degraded visual quality. When you load them up with coins, you likely won't notice the visual defects very much. If my only blemished ones remaining are smaller sized ones, I will send multiple of them to increase the overall value.
The entire unit can hold between 1 to 100 coins depending on size purchased, and coin size. on the 14” wide versions, average capacity is about 7 coins per row.
The unit is between 8"-18" Wide and has 5-15 rows. I can add additional rows if desired, or make custom widths, from 4"-19" wide, please send me a message. Or see variations for more size and row options.
