Caliber firearms.
Our Suppressor alignment rods are used by silencer manufacturers to check concentricity during testing and development, So you can rest assured that you are getting a great product every time from Happy Shooters 2A Supply!!
Happy Shooters 2A Supply alignment rods are second to none in craftsmanship and one of the most accurate tools for assuring your suppressor or muzzle device is concentric with the host firearms bore.
Use of this tool is simple and should prevent baffle strikes or any unexpected issues once you get ready to send some down the range.
Happy Shooters 2A Supply tight tolerance precision ground rods will ensure proper alignment. The rods diameter tolerance is +-.0005 the runout average is .0001. Our rods have one tapered end for easy insertion and to help protect the Crown, Bolt and ejectors from damage if dropped down the bore.
Our alignment rods can be bent if not handled with care and as such dropping it may cause damage. wipe clean after each use and a store in a dry area on a flat surface.
HOW TO USE SUPPRESSOR ALIGNMENT RODS:
Please read and follow your firearms manufacturers safety recommendations and double check to ensure your firearm is unloaded before proceeding!!!
Properly mount your suppressor or muzzle device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions to the host firearm.
Apply a light film of gun lube (oil) on the rod and Insert alignment rod down the bore of the suppressor or muzzle device and into the host firearms bore until the end of the rod is flush with the end cap.
Observe alignment and confirm rod is positioned near the center of the suppressor or muzzle devices bore. The host firearm may need to be rotated around to confirm alignment due to tolerance between the bore and alignment rod. If the host firearm and suppressor or muzzle device are in alignment the rod will not touch the suppressor or muzzle device. If the rod is touching the suppressor or muzzle device carry it to your gunsmith for further inspection and repair.
Remove the rod before shooting wipe it clean and store it away on a dry flat surface!
