Boeing U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress lapel or hat pin. The pin is approximately 2 1/2” long. The pin is made of silver-toned metal, is unmarked, and has a clutch back (with rubber clutches). The age of the pin is unknown, but it may be vintage. The pin is from the estate of Richard “Bubba” Heinisch (1934-2018), a U.S. Air Force B-47 Stratojet Navigator/Bombardier with the 96th Bomb Wing, F-100 Super Sabre fighter pilot with the 352nd Tactical Fighter Squadron, and TWA pilot for 23 years.

The pin appears to be in good used condition with signs of age and wear, such as scratches, scrapes, abrasions, nicks, pits, discoloration, oxidation, and perhaps some loss of finish. Some imperfections may be a result of the manufacturing process.
