Q: Can it be used in high elevations?

Recommend using below 2,000 feet. For every 1,000 feet in elevation,the efficiency of the appliance will decrese by 10%.

What size connectors are gas, cold and hot water?

The gas inlet is G 1/2" thread size. The water Inlet and outlet are both BSP 1/2'' thread size.

Why does it leak where the drain plug in sometime?
A:
The purpose of the drain plug is in addition to draining the water to prevent freezing. It also can protect the water heater by draining the water to balance the water pressure when the water pressure is too high.

What do the batteries run? Entire unit or just the display?

How long does it take to heat to a temperature that would allow someone to take a warm shower?
A:
The temperature of the outgoing water is dependent on the temperature of the incoming water balanced with the amount of heat applied. It usually will be able to meet your needs within one minute.
