exact item shown, see photos, one of the two bubbles in the level is broken, no bars, not sure what this is used for, it's from the estate of a tool collector and I've been trying for 5 or 6 years to figure it out - so far, no luck  my best guess is that it has hardwood bars that go through the two slots (5/8X 1/4") possibly ruled.  threaded clamp pieces hold each bar in place, one handle is red, the other blue, perpendicular bubble levels to get it level in 2 dimensions, might be for squaring a window or door frame, it might be for something else - no brand marking of any kind.  Plated steel with brass handles, rubber pads on the clamping ends of the handles so they don't mar the bar.  dimensions are 1.8X1.9.  if you have any clue what it is, please let me know, it's doing nobody any good sitting on my shelf, if I knew what it was, I could update the listing and it could find a new home, or maybe I need it myself.   thanks for looking
