BeLomo FISHEYE lens MC PELENG 8mm f/3,5 Fisheye Circular 3,5/8A Canon EOS adapter 

MS Peleng 3.5/8A is an ultra-wide-angle circular (round) fisheye lens. This means that the lens has strong barrel distortion; the image formed by the lens is inscribed in a circle with a diameter of 24mm. MS Peleng 3.5/8A is therefore circular (Latin circus - circle), because the image is obtained only in a circle, which is located in the center of the image, with only a black border remaining on the sides. 

The lens focuses smoothly, the focus ring rotates 270 degrees. Warning: When focusing through the optical viewfinder, it is very, very difficult to clearly notice that anything in the viewfinder is changing. Since the lens has a very short hyperfocal distance, you can completely forget about the focusing ring, and always use the lens focused at infinity. When I shot at closed apertures, I did not notice much of a difference in the picture in what focusing distance the lens was focused at. When focusing, the front lens does not rotate, and the lens trunk lengthens by only 1-2 millimeters. The minimum focusing distance is only 22 cm. 

The aperture control ring and aperture preset ring are located on the front of the lens. On the aperture preset ring there are two inscriptions with arrows: Unlock - open the aperture, open aperture and Lock - close the aperture, closed aperture. The minimum aperture value is F/16. Using the aperture preset ring, you can set any F number value from F/3.5 to F/16 

'A' lenses with interchangeable shanks, such as the lens in this review, are very easy to use on almost any modern digital camera (both DSLR and mirrorless), all you need to do is choose the right adapter. The replacement shank 'A' has an external M42 thread. For use on modern cameras, the easiest way is to add the required adapter from M42 to the desired system to this shank.
