In a tough market sellers will give away products to free up cash flow.  However nothing is ever provided for free.  Our industry is in such shambles that even the recyclers pretend to sell a refurbished product only to provide you something that was used, not properly tested, and shipped to you.  These recyclers are paid to take the assets and then simply flip them on ebay.  

My business does purchase from these said recyclers but what separates us is the fact that we do properly test, make critical repairs that most companies who refurbish don't make, clean the unit up, and professionally package the item.

We provide all of this value for not much more than the guys who are flipping products with no expertise or care in the world.  They don't provide warranties.  They cannot answer questions.  They are not making repairs.  They don't even swap feed rollers.  

We know this as we shop our competition on multiple platforms so we can see who is doing what.  The feedback rating and comments also give a glimpse into how other companies handle their affairs.

We are offering this printer which has the solenoids replaced, feed roller replaced, fuser inspected and greased, and quite a few other things that we consider proprietary.  We run a battery of tests prior to our process, as well as a final QC inspection.  Each unit will have a couple of hundred pages each run on them by us prior to packaging.  

Also we are only shipping units with less than 5k pages on them for this listing.  There may be a few blemishes on the units from handling but units are complete, perfectly functioning, and ready to be put into service.
