It is the second banknote (gabrosovka) in the series "Cars of Socialism" after the Fiat 126p. This time the German Trabant 601 was commemorated.

The Trabant 601 was produced by VEB Sachsenring in Zwickau, Saxony from 1964 to 1990. This is the most famous Trabant model. A total of 2,818,547 Trabant 601 vehicles were produced and it was the most popular vehicle in former East Germany.
