Apple iPad Air A1474 WIFI 1st Gen 9.7" 16GB- CANNOT LOG OUT OF APPLE ID

Works fine, but cannot log out of Apple ID. Used for years, and was purchased from a storage locker auction. Original owner was still logged in to Apple ID and could not figure out how to log out to my ID.
