Amber Brown 14" Glass 1 Gallon Medicine Bottle Apothecary 1930 O I Glass.

This beautiful amber brown bottle with a screw on cap (bakelite?) is a wonderful addition to any collection. The bottle was made in the United States at the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. Plant in Alton Ill. and has a capacity of one gallon. Its rich brown color and unique medicine bottle shape make it a standout piece in any display.

No chips or cracks found, light wear mostly on bottom rim. Identification on the bottom of this bottle indicates it was made in 1930.

Estate sale shed find, rinsed off dirt, needs thorough cleaning.

Weight is 3 lb 9 oz before packaging.
