✨ How to Brew the Perfect Cup

  1. 1Add 50ml of water per cup to a traditional coffee pot (rakwe).
  2. 2Add sugar to your liking and stir to dissolve.
  3. 3Bring the water to a near boil on low heat, then remove it. Add one heaping teaspoon of coffee per cup.
  4. 4Return to low heat. Stir several times as the coffee begins to foam. Do not let it boil, as this preserves the rich flavor and crema (foam).
  5. 5Once a thick foam forms, remove from heat and let the grounds settle for about 30 seconds.
  6. 6Pour into your cup and enjoy, preferably alongside something sweet!
