This listing is for a vintage Selmer (Paris) mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. This is a 4th generation Selmer mouthpiece. It dates to the 1950's, or 60'S. These were included with the Centered Tone model clarinets of that era.  It has the Selmer crest logo in the middle of the body, but the facing is marked as "HS*" in an oval on the table.

I believe this mouthpiece has been refaced, but you'd be hard pressed to tell because it was done very well. I don't know who did the work, but it was obviously a pro job. The rails are perfectly balanced with no widening towards the tip. The tip opening measures 1.12mm (.044").

This mouthpiece is in excellent condition. The facing is perfectly smooth. There are no tooth indentations in the beak. There is minimal ligature scratching on the exterior. The rubber is still black and shiny, and the logo is nice and clear. The cork is in good condition. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.

Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Thanks again for looking!
