Meadow Brook Men's Wristwatch 3 ATM Water Resistant

This is another wristwatch packed away in regional estate sale discoveries. Has a second hand. Brown genuine leather band.  On the back of the case is a polo player . Yes there is a Meadow Brook Polo Club and there is one in Westbury, New York which is an old club, founded in 1881. Perhaps this was from a gift shop there or given as a prize.

It is marked "3ATM Water Resistant, quartz."  This watch has a base metal case and a stainless steel case back. It's currently working, and tested.

Note: the old battery had no markings on it. I asked AI what might be the battery, it answered that it might possibly be "SR44SW (or 357/303)" as these were used in the early days of these LCD watches. However I did not have of of these" AG13's" so I put in the old standard SR626SW (AG4), which seems to work just fine.

Surprised to see this oldie LCD work. And putting in a new battery is a bit tricky, it is under a flat plate, to change, pry up the right edge and you will see it. They must have made this movement with quality assurance.

The LCD functions work, tested both buttons on the left side of the watch, both responded. Don't have the instructions on how to set the time, date or timers/alarms (if it has them). Can't be too complicated...

This is a rare LCD version of this model. Unique, only one I see listed anywhere.

Thanks for Looking!
