The TEIN VSHH6-B1DS2 is a complete EnduraPro Plus shock and strut kit for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe (FC chassis, non-Si/Type R) and 2019-2022 Honda Insight (ZE4). The EnduraPro Plus series delivers a significant upgrade over worn factory dampers with 16 levels of damping adjustment, allowing drivers to fine-tune ride quality from plush comfort to firmer sport feel without changing springs or ride height. The OE-shape lower spring seat design ensures direct bolt-on fitment with the factory springs and upper mounts for a hassle-free installation.
TEIN's patented Hydraulic Bump Stopper (HBS) internally converts full-stroke impact energy into heat rather than allowing the harsh rebound felt with conventional bump rubbers -- dramatically improving comfort under heavy passenger or cargo loads and protecting the damper from repeated bottoming damage. High-performance damper oil maintains stable viscosity across temperature extremes with anti-foaming properties to prevent cavitation. The patented 2-layer, 1-bake green powder coating provides superior corrosion resistance for use in harsh climates including heavy snowfall and coastal environments. Road tested by TEIN USA in Downey, California for North American driving conditions.
