from the private collection of a 92 year old lifelong baseball fan (recently passed), comes a great card from yesteryear...
some wear here and there, but this card is very bright and colorful (see pix), and fairly nicely framed/centered. paper is firm; no bends, or "softness" to the paper
i'm mostly a comic book guy, so when it comes to grading cards, i mostly let the photos do the talking. but if i were to bring my limited card experience to bear, plus what i researched on line/on ebay, etc., re condition, i would *estimate* this to be in the 3.5 to 4.0 range, but you're more the expert here than i am. this card strikes me as being in fairly nice condition, but please look closely yourself!
back of card is nice condition too
i don't want to bother sending this in to be graded; my laziness is your opportunity—to get a highly-sought after card at a good price!
again, please see photos for additional info & details
the 1941 "play ball" series this card is from, is one of the more sought-after card series, with numerous well known players featured. i recently acquired the aforementioned gentleman's near-complete collection of these "play ball" and also "double play" cards. i will be posting them for sale on ebay over the coming weeks, so feel free to look for my other listings!
buy with confidence—it’s easier to trust an ebay seller with 100% positive feedback over tens of thousands of sales, and raves about accurate descriptions/photos and great customer service!
