The Afganka cap was part of the uniform of the Soviet army 
in the Central Asian military district.
 It is specially designed to protect from the scorching sun, strong hot wind, sand.
 The cap material is 100% cotton. 
The eyes are protected by a small visor. 
Cheeks and neck are covered with long 'ears', 
which can be lifted and secured with a button.
